This Privacy Policy explains how Travelligent ("Travelligent", "we", "us", "our"), an AI-powered travel commerce platform operated at travelligent.com and launched on 15 July 2026, collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our website, customer portal, or related services (together, the "Platform"). By using the Platform you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

We collect the information reasonably necessary to search for, book, and manage travel:

• Account & contact details — name, email address, and phone number, whether you register directly or sign in via Google or Microsoft.
• Booking & guest details — traveller names, stay dates, room preferences, and any special requests you submit for a reservation.
• Payment information — when you pay online, your card details are entered directly into our payment processor, Stripe, and are never transmitted to or stored on Travelligent's own servers. We retain only a payment reference and status.
• Communications — messages you send us (e.g. Contact Support requests) and delivery records for booking vouchers, invoices, and notifications sent by email, WhatsApp, or SMS.
• Usage & device data — pages visited, searches performed, and session/cookie identifiers used to keep you signed in and remember your preferences.
• AI assistant interactions — questions you ask our AI assistant and the natural-language search terms you provide, used to return an answer or find matching hotels.

2. How we use your information

• To create and manage your account, and to search, price, and confirm bookings on your behalf.
• To process payments and issue vouchers, invoices, and receipts.
• To send booking confirmations, reminders, and support messages by email, WhatsApp, or SMS.
• To power the AI assistant's search and question-answering features.
• To detect and prevent fraud, and to keep the Platform secure and reliable.
• To comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

3. Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information. We share only what each party needs to do its job:

• Hotels, vendors, and supplier partners (e.g. our supplier-API partners) — to fulfil and honour your reservation.
• Stripe — to process payments securely.
• Twilio — to deliver WhatsApp and SMS messages related to your bookings.
• Google (Gemini API) — to power the AI assistant's search and Q&A features; your questions are sent to Google's API for processing.
• Google / Microsoft — if you choose to sign in using one of these providers, they confirm your identity to us.
• Law enforcement or regulators, where required by law.

4. Cookies & session data

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to protect against cross-site request forgery. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but disabling essential cookies may prevent you from signing in or completing a booking.

5. Data retention

We retain booking, payment, and financial records for as long as required by applicable tax and accounting law. Issued vouchers and invoices are kept permanently as an immutable record, consistent with standard travel-industry recordkeeping practice. Account information is retained while your account remains active and for a reasonable period afterward to resolve disputes and meet legal obligations.

6. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, subject to our legal and recordkeeping obligations (for example, we cannot delete records of a completed, paid booking that we are required to retain for tax purposes). 7. Children's privacy

The Platform is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will remove it.

8. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards — including encryption of sensitive data at rest, encrypted connections (HTTPS), and access controls — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Platform after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
